I was staying in a hotel with some children I was looking after and a fire started in the basement of the hotel so we were being evacuated. I was on my way out with the kids when two kids decided they didn’t want to leave. So I was stuck in a hotel that was on fire but I was trying to coax these kids out. By the time I managed to convince them to leave, the fire had spread and there was loads of smoke and I couldn’t find the way out anymore. The kids disappeared at some point and then I was alone, lost, in a burning building that I couldn’t escape.
Dreams about fires typically represent intense emotions or a sense of urgency in waking life. In this specific dream, you being in a hotel with children you are responsible for symbolizes a sense of duty or responsibility towards others. The fire starting in the basement and the subsequent evacuation signifies a situation in your life that is becoming chaotic or overwhelming. The two children who decided not to leave represent a resistance to change or a reluctance to let go of familiar patterns or situations. Your efforts to convince them to leave showcase your determination and persistence in trying to navigate through difficult circumstances. However, as the fire spreads and smoke fills the building, you becoming lost and unable to find a way out reflects a loss of control or a feeling of being overwhelmed by the challenges you are facing. The disappearance of the children suggests a sense of abandonment or being let down by others in these difficult times. Overall, this dream may indicate that you are currently facing a situation that is testing your ability to handle chaos and uncertainty. It highlights the importance of finding a way to let go of what may be holding you back and embracing change to ensure your own safety and well-being. Consider evaluating the areas in your life where you may be resisting change and explore ways to overcome those barriers in order to find a sense of direction and escape from overwhelming situations.
